Lin Tai Sheng graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Taiwan University of Arts. He has been engaged in art education for many years. Despite a busy teaching career, he continue to create tirelessly and have won numerous awards. The work "Potato Star" takes everyday ingredients as its creative theme. A sprouting potato, while feared by people due to its potential toxicity and avoided as food, represents the potato's own way of protecting and strengthening itself—a thought-provoking metaphor worth contemplating.
